Our Cabin Den with Burrow

This month, I have worked with Burrow for a full year. I first collaborated with Burrow to update my home studio in September 2023, and I felt so uplifted by this partnership that I pursued a second to update our sunlit roof deck. You can tour my home studio here, and you can see roof deck here.

Burrow’s pieces have maintained their beauty and quality, and I feel genuine, immense gratitude any time I am able to share them with you.

As Jared and I have expanded our idea of home, we have created a nearby respite near one of our favorite state parks. Our family cabin, Blueberry Hill Cabin, is an abode we chose to fill with our most-loved artwork, furniture, scents, and more.

Our den in particular at Blueberry Hill Cabin is filled with high-quality and elegant pieces from Burrow. A tour of our den—including a sitting and dining area—is below.

As you tour our den, you will see the following Burrow pieces:

Serif Side Table in Oak

Opera Media Console in Oak

Mambo 6-Piece Sofa in Crushed Gravel, High Arms

Serif Square Coffee Table in Oak

County Lines Rug in Natural

Simple Stripe Pillow Cover in Oat

Interval Hand-Tufted Pillow Cover in Sand

Slightly out of frame is our Knuckle Table Lamp, with a sphere bulb, in Oak.

Here, you will also see our dried floral installation created by Natalie Barnet of Fleur Sure—a favorite artist of ours here in Nashville.

This Labor Day, Burrow is offering 20% to 60% off site wide.

Up to 60% Off Sitewide

Up to 40% Off Sofas and Sectionals

Up to 30% Off Nomad Seating

Up to 25% Off Shift Sleeper Sofa

Up to 60% Off Outdoors

Up to 40% Off Accent Chairs

Up to 60% Off Storage

I have always preferred to shoot in bright, sharp sunlight. However, our cabin is set beneath a canopy of towering trees, and it is therefore very shaded and quite dark. For this shoot, I decided to step out of my comfort zone with confidence and attempt to light it myself, guided by Lauren Taylor Luke, who advised me. Sometimes, we need the right opportunity to push our creative boundaries. Already, I can’t imagine not having lighting equipment on hand in the future.

Next to our sitting area is our dining area—first shown via a sneak peek here. Our dining table and chairs are directly in front of double doors that walk directly into the woods, so they often see more sunlight and experience ever-magical komorebi—one of my favorite light-driven phenomena of all.

Below, you will see the following Burrow pieces:

Serif Extendable Dining Table

Haiku Dining Chairs

Great Plains Rug
